well my power supply broke so now i need to get a new one.......
well im half way through the build i just need batteries, a motor mount, and the medusa2200


and i thought this was a neat way to mount a switch......

that esc mount doesnt look very strong at all.... perhaps trying to make one out of acrylic like someones i saw yesterday, or adding another prace or using thicker aluminium.

hey guys what pinion should i get? im running the stock hyper 8 spur, i think its the 46t, im thinking about a 16t pinion

You can use BrianG's Speed Calculator to help you estimate it:

16t pinion would net you about 43mph on 4s Lipo, which should work just fine.

ok guys i havent worked on this car for a while, but is a 36-50-1600 on 6s a123 overkill?
plus im working on a new esc mount and still waiting for mike to get some 2200s or
1600s in stock.

The 2200 will be more potent than the 1600. ImpaktRC has the medusa 36-60-1600 in stock. That should work very well for 6s a123.

alright im almost there, i've made a tougher esc mount, i convinced my dad to let me get some a123's, all i need is to get a medusa 1600, CC BEC, a123, power supply, and make a battery holder

well i've always been a 1/10th guy plus im not gonna loose lots of money, i'll be getting a slash soon and will be using the electronics from my conversion. anyways good luck on your conversion tc3

just found this thread/ looks nice. any updates?

what type of springs are those? i just picked up a hyper 8 off ebay and it has the same springs. i dont know what to compare them too though. hard or soft?
one more thing, what did you use to clean up your chassis? did you take EVERYTHING apart or just sprayed it down or what?
