Heres some pics of the Slayer so far.I was gonna go with the Tekno clutch but changeed plans. It does have a tendency to want to flip but if you are carefull its controlable. It drives like a grape ape.I went with a Neu 1512/1.5d/f and 3s lipo 6000.Lincpimp can I go with a 18t pinion? It now has a 14T with stock forward only trans.I also ofcourse went with the mech.brakes.I did hammer on it a few times an the MMMv2 worked perfect.I was gonna use a mx3 fm radio but it glitched like crazy with the steering servo so for now it has the stock radio and no problems.

I managed to get a few mins on the slayer today. I have to say that it will tracktion roll on concrete but handles reasonably well in the dirt/grass. It has plenty of power and will wheely easily. I do like the truck, very fun! I have a feeling that I would not be as fond of it with stock tires, if they are anything like the slash tires, they suck...

The badlands have been doing great. I went out earlier for a good bash session. Used a 5s flightpower 5350 17c pack. I ran for at least 40 mins and still had not hit the cutoff. Temps are not bad either. I do like the truck, even though it likes to flip over if turning too fast. I usually lands on its tires... It just promotes better driving!

I just like the full body, and it jumps well too. I see my self running it more than my 1/8 buggy. Seems pretty strong, only broken an al pivot ball so far, and those were a dumb idea. I put steel ones back on the front suspension, as it seems to take the bulk of the hits.

I put a 4s 6000 in my Slayer and a 14t pinion and the 1512/1.5d/f and wow!!!!!!!!Temps were manageable the MMMv2 fan came on a couple times. The motor seems to run cooler with no cover over the front holes of the motor.I drove it for 30 minutes in medium grass. The Slayer so far has been quite durable.I also raced my Matrix buggy after the Slayer and I actualy enjoy the Slayer over the Buggy.I guess if I was driving a real Corr truck it would stand to reason that the turns that seem to flip the truck would also flip the Slayer. It seems true to scale.

If common sense was so common everyone would have it.

This is certainly good news...cant wait to get my hand on my mocked up slayer...I envy you guys....

+1 on the better driving skill....even in MT and Truggy an unfamiliar driver will find it easy to flip it but given time they should be able to find the sweet spot....

32 pitch has much smaller teeth. So if they are the same OD then the 32 pitch will have more teeth. If they look identical they are most likely both 32p or mod1...

Thanks they are both 17t and 1 of them is smaller so that would be the 32 pitch. The teeth look the same but the overall diameter of 1 of them is larger.
