to be honest with you george, im not sure if I will be selling them, BUT, i did shoot Mike a email, with all the info about it, including the specs for him to make them, & hopefully he will get back to me.....it actally didn't cost me to much, the hard part is getting the ring gear modded by my machinist at work, and I can do the shafts....but this was done on our lunch breaks....that's why i sent the info to Mike, but if someone was to start a thread and we can see how much interest is in them, maybe Mike would be more apt...to produce them for you guys.....

Sorry if this sound like a dumb question, but what is the difference between this center diff and the traxxas one?

the traxxas one only uses 2 spyder gears, then you have the output gears, which isn't a real strong design IMO, the one I made has 4 spyder gears and then the 2 output gears, which is a stronger desing, and so far to date it has been working flawlessly

Im very limited on resources to be able to build it, part of it is, I have a machinist at work that does the ring gear mod, on his spare time..lunch ect, and I then turn down the stock shaft & cut & mill it to length myself, I can provide all the info ect for someone to make it or have it made for them, it is a quite simple design, I have sent the info to Mike, but have yet to hear anything from him.....

Would this also work in the 3.3 trans case?
1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

The way it is done right now I would say no, it will not fit in the 3.3 Revo Tranny. I have a second Hyper 7 center diff waiting for me to try and fit it in a 3.3. I haven't had the chance to look into it yet. It might fit with a little more grinding of the Hyper 7 spur gear but there's not much left that can be taken off of it. There is less room in the 3.3 tranny case than the one for the ERevo as the output gear of the 3.3 CD is much smaller.

Hopefully someone will sell these already made...I am doing a 3.3 Revo conversion and want a bomb proof transmission when I am done...so is there anyone who would be willing to make one? I do not have access to what is needed to complete this diff.

I would buy one b/c I really like the 4 spider design. I like the fact that you have more diff oil options than with the traxxas one. Please someone sell one!!!!!

making parts for other people is very time consuming and you don't make any money at the end. It actually cost you money, I know a little something about it. That is the main reason why I post whatever I do in as much detail as I can. So that people who think it was a good idea can give it a try and make it themselves. I love this hobby and I like tinkering and trying to improve my RCs. Some say I post too much stuff that seem impossible to make for the average Joe. I am an average Joe, with limited tools and knowledge so I say, what's stopping you? Some like to disagree with whatever I do, some love the stuff I do and some say I'm crazy to post pics of all the stuff I do and that I could get rich selling them. I don't care, I like to share. And I tried making a little money selling parts I made. Didn't work
