yeah heres the best one http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...MBO2200&cat=20 select motor only and mike will ship you one for 150. much better for a emaxx than a medusa as the endbells are closed. plus castle always makes good on the warranty

i had great luck with a hv4.5 and the mmm , in a e-revo , i geared it to novaks rec. and the temps where fine.

check youtube for a vid of mine on the track , it ran great

it will work good for now , go for it , and later get a medusa , the 6.5 will get good run times as well

I see that you have the smaller shaft (1/8") HV, now you were running on 4S right??? Isnt the 4.5 5000kv???? If so, wouldnt that be like 74000rpm???? or was the old HV4.5 KV different???

yeah its a old 1/8 shaft motor , and novak says on their site its 5000 kv

yeah 4s

if geared according to novaks specs , it will run ok , i had no temp issues at all when geared with a 12t on the 4.5 motor , it was about 120f , and a 13 iirc jumped to 145f so i ran a 12t

also remember that a monster trucks trans has a gear reduction , not a great set-up but if you have the motor it will work fine
