Yeppers - RC-Monster Mikes has at least one that is in the 8 lb range with batts - I cant get my pig down below 9.4lbs lipo loaded..... As far as the wires are concerned - I used the body post off my terra crusher. It is a post on the bottom and gets bigger on top and has 3 holes in the top - which i use to individually hold each wire - I just drilled a hole in the chassis where i needed the support post - pre-tapped the bottom of the post and that is that - dosent move - and no wire movement - hope this helps ya....

I will have a look at this on the weekend, thanks. I might come up with an alu part.

Speaking of weekends: I'm off home now, yay, it's 16pm here.:)

Wow, thats amazing. Looks just what traxxas will probably do, I bet they will evan use the maxx tranny like yours, knowing traxxas as they can never seem to move on( the 2.5 for like so many cars now)
Now if you put some 850 drill motors in it, thats probably the next production e-revo.

Ja, that´s what I think, too. So I enjoy the moment, it´s still unique:)

btw: it also hauls with the EVX/Titans, but I like the 9L better. But you´re right, if they go the e-revo way, they will come out with a brushed version, for the sake of affordability.

This truck looks so sleek, everybody who sees it says it looks factory built. I wonder how the Traxxas batt trays will look, though.

One good steering servo is all you need. I have dreamed of the e-revo myself. Some day!

What what?! I wanna see some pics, HnC, bring it on!

I agree with Mike, one good servo is enough. With a two servo setup, I would suggest two digital ones, this fighting for center is really annoying.
I am content with this single servo setup.

My truck runs great, btw, I love the slightly different handling compared to my E-Maxx, and since I had to replace the BL right at the beginning, I haven't had to touch one single screw. Amazing.

I just crafted a oneway front driveshaft, but haven't tested that one yet.

Next on my list is a nice fan mod to the controller.

:D Thanks RChippie!

Those trays are easily made, just bend some alu. Feel free to rip off my design, I won't sue you :L:

In fact I am currently working on the second version, right from scratch. This time it will be even better.

LMK if you have questions or something.

Thank's for not sueing me LOL!!!. Please keep us updated on your second version. Also you said you had to file the chassis to get the tranny to fit. Were exactly did you have to file ?. Why did you dicide not to use the revo tranny?.

The area that has to be grinded away is pretty obvious once you hold the E tranny into the chassis. You just have to make a bit a bigger hole for it. It really is just a few mm's.

I decided against the Revo tranny for two reasons: First, I didn't like the idea of an auto shifting on an electric motor, and second, the E tranny offers you a nice motor plate, which in turn gives you a handy place to mount the esc as well.
Plus, I have the impression that with UE idlers this EMaxx tranny is BL proof.
(and the shift-with-your-thumb thing is just awesome)
The next version may be single speed, though.

Dafni - Please, post some pics of your BL Twin Force. How does it do in race conditions?

Alien, you can see my BL TF here:
http://www.lsarc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=502

It has changed alot since then, I should make new pics.
I don't race this truck (in fact there is no off road track in my area at all), but I bash it at a local gravel pit and an BMX course.
