The little man on my one shoulder says "wtf? you seriously can't sell your first-born for that motor"
the little man on the other shoulder says "go for it! you can make another kid!"

Oh, and I shot an email to neutronics. I want to see all the specs they have for this thing!

To Whom It May concern:

On behalf of the many curious people at the RC-Monster.com forums, would you be able to give us some details on the motor shown on your homepage, the 4430?
We have been speculating what the actual power and speed the motor would have, and the possible applications for this motor. Also, what speed controller would you recommend for such a motor?
Any info you have on that motor would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael D

Sorry to make a zombie but

Was there ever a response? It still seems like they aren't showing these big things off yet.

My Mini 850 was dynod at 24hp, it sure wasn't a drag racer but its not the slowest car I've had either, it kept up with day to day traffic just fine on acceleration and topped out in the low 90s according to the uncalibrated stock speedo. I wouldn't mind betting that 15KW with electrics flat torque curve and no gears would give better performance at least into the 80s. the BMC "A" engine has an iron block too, so you shouldn't be any heavier converted depending on the range you needed.

Hot Bodies Lightning 2 Pro carbon, Mega 22/30/2, MMM, 4s3-5Ah.
Tamiya F201 carbon, Mamba 7700, MM, 2s A123 2.3ah.
Xray XT8, 1518, MMM, 4s5Ah.
Lots of boats.
