Neu 44xx - 08.05.2009, 04:48 PM

I spent 30 minutes searching for that thread but couldn't find it or who posted it.

Anyways, someone brought up Neu's 44xx series. They updated their homepage with a pic of various Neu motors, and sure enough, the 44xx is in there.

Thats a big ole motor!

Lol, didn't know they were in the hybrid 1:1 car market.

The mounting holes look too small. I would think something like that needs 1/2" bolts at the least.

BG, I'm with you! I was expecting larger mounting bolt holes... I'm sure that thing has some weight!!! I believe it would move a 1:1 car nicely.

Look at the bolts holding the endbell on...

SO SMALL! I think this would power a e-quad or similar well, but not a car.

Nowhere near a 1:1 car, you need a 9" dia 2-3' long motor to power a car to highway speeds. Maybe a motorcycle or dirtbike.... Or a full scale small airplane.

are there any reps from neumotors who would want to chime in? (are there any on the forum?) We all have our ideas, but I want to know what Neumotors intended these behemoths for.
