balancer plugged into the charger and pack plugged into the balancers balancing leads is that wrong it charges fine but when it gets to about 12.4-5 volts the charger errors but only then i think the balancer is sensing 1 cell reaching full charge and is cutting the power to the pack cause if you take a normal nimh batt start a charge then unplug the batt with out stoping the charge the charger will do the same thing. any way spent 10min maby out with my truck this morning after work and WOW this thing is nuts! i think when you can sizzle spit on the slipper clutch its time to bring it in :017: .im a bit over geared cause the motor is getting pretty hot but the batt and controller are luke warm but i cant really do much about it since a 14tooth pinion is the smallest ive seen in 32p 5mm bore :002:

If you are charging at 3.7amps, try charging at no more than 3amps. The reason is because the taps on the battery and balancer have thin wires that can't quite take charge current. The next time you charge, check how warm the balance wires are getting.

That is very strange. You could try hooking the battery directly to the charger, with the balancer connected to the battery, and see how it charges then.

The LBA6 balancer cuts out when one cell reaches 4.3 volts. Check the voltage of each of the cells right after this happens to see if this is the case.
