Yes, but that was with the 5300 which has both torque and speed. I think it would be a bit an overestimation of the fun-42 to compare it with the basic 5300 dont you think so Mike?

Ok Monster, I have not yet made an order for my touring car setup and I thought that it would be good to discuss it with you buddy, so I thought I have told you that I'm planning to get the Twist-55 with the Schulze U-Force 75 esc for my TB-EVO 4 MS and I found a good site that sells them( not finedesignrc though). It's name is ICARE-RC.COM. They truly have a very large selection of motors from Plettenberg to Hacker with the exception of Lehner. I dont know what you think of the setup, but I do like to have your recommendation on the most ideal setup for my touring car. I want something to go against the 9-8T brushed motors with ease and I could not think of something better than the Lehner 5300+U-Force 75 or K.Twist-55+U-Force 75, but which will go easier on the car and deliver decent speed at the same time? You've been a great help for all of the members of this cooperative forum M.Mike and your work is most appreciated. Thanks a million pal.

The u-force and twist 55 will be an excellent setup for your touring car. The Lehner motors, Hacker c40 motors, kontronic motors are all excellent motor choices. Plettenbergs are nice, too. There are many options to choose from. MGM controllers are very nice and very smooth as well, and are a bit less expensive compared to the u-force (120 amp MGM will be more capable than the u-force at a fraction of the price-it won't run brushed motors, though).

i can only find the 33 and 37
Temecula, I bet you found the 33 and the 37 at Tower Hobbies. Right? Well, why didn't they stock the 42,47and 55 twists is because they are a direct dealer of Konronik USA and the American site of Kontronik is yet to stock any of the faster twist motors and so as soon as they will stock them, Tower Hobbies will too.

Yes I considered the MGM 120 too, but the size is almost the same as that of the BK 9920 which my car can not accommodate unless I mount them to the upper deck.

It will handle any sort of 1/10 scale brushless motor for sure, but then the size comes into consideration.......it will take me a while befor I decide. Heeeeeeeeeeelp.
