That is still up in the air. Got a thread some where about a new RC build.
Probably Ebay allot of stuff for funding.

Any EU guys wanna trade a 1515 for a 1520?

The 1520 I have now will be too much for the stock length Savage.

Nice truck. - 12.17.2010, 09:25 PM

Nice looking setup. Well I recieved two 1717 motors in the mail yesterday from CC, and I have one more coming in Monday or Tuesday from a personal sale. So now I will have three of them in case I have any critical failures. Of course we are packing up for our move, so it will be a few months until I get to play with any of our R/C toys. Next year should be a fun time in The Hill house where R/C is concerned.

Cool, just some questions:

Can a baja 5b body fit on that kit?
What is the max lenght + diameter of motor that can fit on this?
And would the biggest ESC's fit on it?

Thx!

Hi.

Yes, 5b body fits.

Opening for the motor is 100x55mm, and can be customized if someone wants to mount even bigger motors than 100mm lenght.

Bigger escs can be mounted above the motor.

so just hypotetically speaking, these new 1/5 scale electric baja conversion from Castle can fit your kit too?

I havent done any research yet about the best motor-esc combo, but it would seem that there are better alternatives from Neu for a 1/5 motor.

good question :)
the base of the esc is 100.1 mm and here you see its bigger than the esc in length

I would say about 13-14cm in total lenght for the CC motor?

I think that kit of yours + this CC combination + a Hyperion lipo would give a nice alternative to a Baja? :) And I think much cheaper?

ps nice website, its not online but promising pics http://www.alza-racing.com/soon
and I bet if you make some advertising of your website, you would get alot of orders for your kit as soon as the Castle Creations combo hits the stores :)
