Yeah, just watch the tail landings. I was giving it too much throttle and jumping nose high. Once the nose is up the damn body acts like a sail making it almost impossible to bring the nose down.

I shaved down the heatsink clamp to fit and pressed the 8l back together only to have the front bearing fall apart after 20ft. Like I said, I've abused this motor. But now I'm thinking of trying the Medusa 50mm.

found one i looked on a UK forum last night and a guy was selling one, unfortunatly its blue, i might de anodise it

edit: sorry this is a bit of a noob question but should i have my esc fan blowing onto the speed controller or blowing away?

Have it blowing down, and space it away from the esc heatsink about 1/4 inch for best results.

well my lipo, lipo sack and motor and all that stuff has turned up
im surprised at how short the motor wires are, hopefully they will reach
should i dremmel a flatspot on the motor shaft? or will the pinion grip ok

oh and just a note to people dont get ofna diff lock lube on your hands....its like an oily glue that you cant wash off
