Thanks, I think I am going to drop the emaxx project at this point (have 300+ in new parts, and would still have to front the money for a nice chassis) and go with an e-revo powered by a novak HV or a 9l.

that's the spirit! convert your revo! i would get a stronger 9L over the hvmaxx, but that's just me.. The drivetrain of the revo is proven tough for the 9L

ROOST, pm sent ;)

Serum: Indeed, so far no problems at all. But I'm a carefull driver. Let's see what the Lehner will do to it.

RCM-Mike: Thanks, man. I try my best, always ready to help out, even with my limited knowledge.
BTW, amazing how many Feedback I got (and still get) about this truck.

Yep, Rannick, expect my report as soon as I get the pinions.

One more thing for you: I was bashing with my BL-TF (9L on 14 cells) at my secret gravel-pit spot, not too long ago. We were shooting photos (the ones you might have seen on LSARC) so I had a lot of stop-and-go and small breaks as well. But the batteries lasted a solid 30 mins, at least! I was amazed.

Here's a pic from this session, just to spice it up:

Damn 30minutes!
So my optimistic dream of a above 20min runtime gets real in the end! :)
So 9L and 14 batts are the secret recipe :P
BTW nice place for driving u have there and nice picture, so full of movement, shooted in the right moment :P. Have to begin to look out in my range for those spots too.
Te polpulation density is just a bit high in NRW, the federal state i life in. You find seldomly places that arent ownt buy somebody or arent under nature conservation.

Are there any BL motors that have maybee even lower power then the 9L and might offer even another bit runtime more?

8L can be run on 12 cells don't know about runtime but going to guess it draws less amps.

The 8L is a hotter motor than the 9L. 10L would be the choice for a longer runtime.

I once ran my savage for two hours on 1 batteriecharge.. Sounds unbelievable, but it is the uncoloured truth. we where walking in the woods, and i had her spinning next to me, sometimes a bit of trial, hard accelerations and hillclimbing.. i was impressed. when i swapped batteries, my receiver pack was empty.. I never expected it to be empty sooner than my GP3300's..

you got the two hours with a 10l? How is the power compared to the 9l? How many cells are optimum for that setup?
I am looking to get somthing I can run 6 and 7 cells packs with (So I can run them in my stadium as well)

The 10L I have seen run was run on 16 cells I think that is the highest the motor can take. If you want to run 12-14 cells then the 8L for 12 cells and 9L for 14 cells.

The RX, well, look closely! :p
Try to find the UBEC, and you'll get a prize.:L:

Nah, RX and UBEC are on the inner side of each batt tray.

Won't sell it in a hurry, though. Gotta finish V2 first, and then I'll decide.
But let me tell you, I already got some mad offers.
