I think he may make a similar mounting spot as dafni, with the L bracket beside the motor?

OMG! i love burshless, it was the batts! THANKS ALOT COOLHAND! (sarcastic) anyway, i solderd some plugs on the gp3300 i got, put them on and BAM! it wheelied like crazy and had insane speed, it was so fast, that the tape i used to hold down the batts ripped off! lol...i think i'll need aluminum now!!!! I LOVE BL!!!! I LOVEe BL!! YIPEEE!!!! its almost as fast as my rc18t. Ima gear it to 70t, and 19t pinon with 14cells, though they are cool's crappy ones...

lol, i was j/k man! dont take it offensively! Im happy with the hv-maxx. actually, i still havent tried it out yet. I'll try it later on.
okay, maybe the gearing is too high. HOw about 70t, and 17t? 14 cells? Ima try to make the other gp3300 into 7 and 8 cell packs. What if i run 16 cells? I know there'll be too much rpm, but i'll gear it really low. Im hoping for longer runtimes, my 9L only gets 5 minutes on 72/17t setup.

DONT DO IT!!! 9l on 16 cells is alot. 14 max. what gearing are you running now? more cells = lower gearing. so on 14 cells 17 is still probably to hot.

well, right now im running 12, my temps were 73 degrees for motor, about 81, and 100 for the batts. The motor and esc wasnt hot at all. SO i was thinking i can up the gearing with the 12 cells. I can do 72t/15t for 14 cells. Thats teh lowest setup i can do right now. Why teh batts get so hot? is it cuz they get drained so fast? any way to keep temps down. oh yeah, i also got fans i wanna install but dunno how to. I got a titny fan, 3/4 an inch, and a 1.5 inch fan. I was thinking about ziptieing the small one to the esc and big one to teh motor. Or should i reverse it? where do i hook up the wires to? Should i just attach the fans to teh receiver pack? or something?
