There is a link in my first post but here it is again. It's not that special but they say on the forum that there might be some new diffs in it which was the thing that got me most excited.

The two things I liked were the body and tires. The body I thought looked a bit better scale wise then the old body. The tires I like as they might work well in a skate park and i'm looking for skate park tires. The more padding for bad landings in a skate park the better.

Sorry guys, but how many flavors of vanilla can one company make? How many versions of the Savage do they have now? 3 or 4?

The only thing that is interesting is the new difs IMO. The rest of the changes they made will get tossed when it gets converted to brushless.
Oh yea... I agree wheels, tires and body. What were they thinking? Terrible!
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Good point. Losi has been in a bad habit lately of throwing a new body and wheels on something and calling it a different vehicle.
It really is a shame though. The only thing HPI has had come out with in the past couple of years that wasn't a rehash was the Firestorm and Wheely King. Just about everything else was throwing some makeup on an old pig (all the Savages and MT2's). (this doesn't apply to Hot Bodies though, even though I know they are related)
At least Losi brought out the Micro-T, 8ight and 8ight-T as completely new platforms. Not to mention, the 8ight's are actually race worthy. I haven't seen anything from HPI in that category in years.
