Cen GST Tire/wheel weight - 02.22.2008, 12:22 PM

Does anyone know what the Cen GST tires/wheel weight is?

With 23mm hexes at 7 1/4" tall x 4" wide, I think they might be a great addition to my new E maxx.

This is the truck they come stock on:

I just bought a set of the similar wheels/tires that come on the race version. They are dish type wheels and bowtie tread tires. I may pick up a set of the chrome/chevron treads like you linked too. I can weigh mine on the scale when they come in, should be next week.

Hey Linc,

I would really appreciate that. I know my E maxx has plenty of torque to pull the big hawgs, plus I already have a 23mm adapter kit.

I just don't wanna even try it if they weigh like 2 pounds a piece or something. LOL

I put proline Moab XL on LPR rims for my e-maxx! I think this is the lightest big tire combo you can have! they weight in at 320g each with rim. For comparaison the stock original e-maxx tire & rim weight 325g. These are 7" tall and 3.4" wide check how uge these look on my gorillamaxx with a 13.7" wheelbase!!!

8 pounds of wheels and tires would not be good, that is for sure!

I have read places where they are not that heavy, I can't see that they would be lighter than a 40 series wheel and tire.

Mine are going on a savage with the rcm extended chassis, so we will see. That truck will be pretty heavy, but with 8s lipo and an aveox 36/38/2 (1515 equivalent) it should not have any issues moving the tires!

On a side note, I have next weekend off! The wife is going out of town to a baby shower so I have the weekend to myself!
