Tire size? - 02.25.2008, 09:47 PM

I am trying to find a tire close to the same size as the Traxxas talons. 3.8 if I remember. I want a little more clearance for my rustler but I don't like the tread of the talons. Any thoughts? What size are 30 series tires?

Someone posted a really good chart of this the other day. Maybe it was on another forum. I'll try and find it.

Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

How about some 30 series badlands?

5" overall height...you'd just need to adjust your front track width for the 30 series wheels though. If you want more info, just let me know and I'll be glad to help out.

It may not be the same as using stock arms and stock shocks. I've got FLM A-Arm Kit FLM24800 on there along with Duratrax Evader Pro ST shocks all around. However, it's about 1 7/8" from the ground at the lowest point. My VXL with stock tires and wheels (but Losi threaded shocks) is about 1 1/2" from the ground at the lowest point.
