The castle link software has all of the info to program all of castles products. The castle link, is a small piece of circuitry that connects via the same usb cable that the mm uses, to the reciever plug to enable programming of the item.
The mm has the casle link built in, so that the usb connection is made between the esc and the computer. All of the other castle products need the castle link for programming, such as the ccbec.
That clears things up for me. It now makes sense that it's $20 for the the link and not just your ordinary usb cable they are selling. Also explains why I didn't see any place to connect a cable to the BEC. Thanks again for your help linc.
No prob gee, supposedly the mmm will not have the direct usb hookup like the mm has. It will come with the castle link thingy. It is necessay to get the most out of the esc. I bought mine to program the mamba25 a while ago, blew me away back then to be able to adjust everyting so easily, no beeps and flashes!
It is also helpful to program the BEC before you connect it to the power wires to the ESC, there have been reports that the program gets confused since it can see both the ESC and the BEC I had a few problems when programming mine after connecting to my system and I called Castle and I finally got it figured out
