Slipper question and first run report. - 04.21.2008, 12:22 AM

Finally 1 of my batteries came in and I got to do my first lipo run. It was pretty sweet. It put most my doubts about brushless to rest. It ran very hard and quick. I only got about 15min, of runtime in when the slipper loosened up and shut me down. It was dark already so I put her away. I'm very curious on how long my runtimes will be.

I will try and get a video.

So my question is whats the best way to keep a slipper tight. I'm thinking blue loctite? Is a slipper needed, or is that something I might want to lock?

This is a Revo, Neu 1512 2.5d/f, Quark 125, TR 8000 4S lipo, stock revo tranny. Motor and controller temps where under 110*.

Your best bet is to replace the nut on the slipper. It should have a nylon locking ring in it, and after time that ring wears out. I am not a big fan of using loctite on the slipper as it may get into the assembly and cause issues.
