still deciding on what to do about a motor and battery, waiting on lincpimp to let me know what he has, what does it take to run the old mm on 5s, still need an external ubec? any specific settings? what do you guys think 4s-8xl or 5s-9xl? really need some input, thinking about some zippy cells for now

I have never used a MM, but I thought that 5S was almost a guaranteed death sentence (without adding FETs or something else drastic).

Edit:I know at 4s you need to use a UBEC, so 5S would require one as well.

Which cells you plan to run?
5000? 4500?
Where you plan to ran? Race, bash, Speed runs?
compare weights of cells.
For track I'll bet on 8XL with 4S on MM
4S-weight bit less and safe for MM
maybe even 9XL on 4S
Feiagos are hot and be ready to play with gearing!
Actualy no mater what feigao you take sooner or later you will change this motor anyway for better one.
Also take look on MedUSA MR-036-060-2000V2-5 some of guys have great success. It runs cool and have plenty of power throw buggy!

your right i will end up changing lol, i have a 7xl in my revo and it doent do to bad on 4s, and im racing on a mid lenght track, and most likely the 5000 cells, but in an 8lb buggy temps shouldnt be to bad
