high end brushless noob! - 09.11.2005, 10:06 PM

k well this is my thread from RCU,

so liek my birthday soon, and i was looking at some stuff on rc-monster.com yea that stuff is pretty nuts...the like 500$ esc's and all, thats like 700$ canadian. like whoa. anyways...i want some more speed compared to my ss5800, so pretty much everything, like the cheapest thing would be faster?

if i were to buy something there, it would be this esc no doubt about it...

the MGM Compro 80 amp, 12 cell brushless car controller, cuz like i dont work and stuff, and the motors are average 70$, so it comes up to 300$ canadian. i would get maybe 200$ on my birthday and if i can sell the ss5800 (which i can get alot for cuz like speedmunkeys the cool, got the box instructions and all ) so that can sell... anways how does the

MGM Compro 80 amp, 12 cell brushless car controller and lets say...Feigao brushless motor 540 6s

well, actually, what motor with that esc will like smoke my ss5800?

im going to put this in my xxx-s probably highly geared for the highest top speed like ever...heh

I not sure if the 8012 will support the 6s. The 6s draws a few more amps than the esc is rated for. I may be wrong. If so someone stop me. :)

Peace!

In a light car, it should be fine.

For 15 dollars more, you can have the 9920, it should handle it good..

yeah i made a mistake, uh someone on my msn told me that that 80 amp esc would most likely die, so im going to go with the

MGM Compro 120 amp, 12 cell brushless car controller

the cells, i own a gp3300 at the moment, im going to run it on 6 cells, i need to buy another pack, so ill be buying the new gp3700's from www.boomboombatteries.com

This thing is gunna rip in my xxx-s...
