what do I need to balance?? - 05.08.2008, 11:48 PM

OK, so I decided that I'm gonna get the Hyperion ac/dc charger and deal with a few hours of charge time. It'll cost me less money, I won't have to build anything, and it'll take up less space, and I don't think a 3 hour charge time would affect me based on my usage.

SO, I know nothing about balancing, but this charger does it, and I know that i should. I'm going to get a Zippy H 6S1P 5000 pack. What adaptor do I need (if any) to balance this pack with this charger??

Also, if I missed something here and am making a big mistake getting this charger, please let me know. I figure about 2.5- 3 hours charge time, but I'm ok with it based on my usage.

yeah, I here ya, but my daily runtime with nitro NEVER exceeded 45 min MAX, and my batteries should give me that with no probs. I just don't want to play with power supplies, and spend that extra money. Maybe I am making a mistake, but I've thought it over a lot, and I just can't see it ever being an issue - I work, and have a family, so my free time is limited. When I actually get to use my rc, it really has ever exceeded 45 minutes.

Worst case I see; I change my mind and sell the ac dc on ebay someday.

You'll need a XH balancer for the Zippy's.
