Not too bad. I have an 8XL and MM in there and so far there are no heat issues. I think i have it geared for around 35mph and that's more than enough for bashing, i don't race since i have no tracks around me. I also did the Brian G lock into second gear thing that so far that's holding well. I am on the second preorder from Mike for MMM so that will be going in the Revo as soon as i get it. Now i'm just trying to decide on a body.

Nice!

Just curious, why didn't you go with the Tekno ESC mount at the same time?

Also, did you do the "pin mod" in the tranny? If not, I think you'll find that they eventually will break. And if they do, you'll probably also have to replace the gears the broken pins ruin...

I actually bought the roller from dirt101 and so all that he had with it was the RCM motor mount and the Tekno battery tray and reciever box. I have thought about getting the ESC mount but i like how it sits now and the USB port is easy to access. I did do the "pin mod" in the tranny just because of all the problems i have heard of on this forum, better to be safe than sorry. I think it has turned out pretty nice so far. I use to have a nitro Revo a few years ago and it was a nightmare to tune and mess to clean up. I have missed the actual truck itself since getting rid of it so i'm very happy to have one again but electric this time. They are a blast to drive.

It's a crappy firepower 4s 4000mah lipo. I have some new TrueRC 4s 5000 20c lipos in the mail, woo hoo!

That's exactly the reason why I got rid of my nitro Revo. Tuning hassles, noise, and the messy dirt/oil mixture all over the rear end was a PITA to clean. My first conversion was a Revo and haven't even thought about getting a nitro after that!

The only two nitro's i have had are a Revo and an Ofna hyper buggy and both were very fun to drive but i just hated all the time and mess that goes into them. I am very happy that i found this site 3 years ago. I like to wrench but i like to play even more.
