Futaba 3PM FASST low response time - 05.19.2008, 03:12 PM

Hello, i run my mugen MBX5T with a Futaba 3PM FASST radio.
I've standard servo on my truggy, so i run the radio in PPM mode (not HRS), and i find that the response is very slow, (i give trottle and have long gap before the controller react) when my truck is far from me.
I've an MGM16018 with a NEU 1515 1Y.
I've a nitro savage with digital servo and i run it on HRS mode and the response is very faster than my brushless truck on PPM mode.

Have you experiment this problem??

And if i put digital servo on my brushless truggy, can i run HRS mode with the MGM controller???

Thank you

Do you have MGM controller??
I've MGM 16018 with the new 3.21 software, i think i'll put digital servo on it and try it in HRS.

Hope that all will work fine.

no at this time i had a nitro savage but it is exactly as you described. I would have slow response on my throttle and it was really really slow if the vehicle was far away. (sometimes up to 1-2 sec delay) so i just put a digital servo in to be able to run in hrs mode. In your case you servo is for steering and brakes?????? Either way if you put it in hrs it should fix the delay. This is why i love the react. You can mix and match analog and digital and even with analog it is still the fastest radio i have ever owned.

OK but what's i want to know is if i can run the MGM in HRS.
I know what you mean, i've a nitro savage too and i run it in HRS with digital servo and the trottle is verry fast.

And yes i've servo for steering and one for brake on my brushless truggy.
I use stock mechanical brake both front and rear.

Yes the MGM will support the digital mode. Actually it will perform better in digital mode.
