Brushless Aftershock wont move - 06.03.2008, 08:44 AM

I just finalized my FD conversion og my Aftershock, and everything seems to work fine, apart from the truck wont move.

The motor spins freely, and so does the spurgear, but nothing happens. I have tried to tighten the slipper, but that did not help. Shall I do something to put it in gear??

Any help is greatly appreciated.

See if anything is stuck on your drive train. Did you disassemble the diffs? I made a mistake once and didn't remember which side the diff ring was on and I reversed one and my vehicle wouldn't move (That's what happens when you do things in a hurry ). You can start by removing the center drive shaft and rolling your vehicle to see if it moves. It it doesn't, move on the the front or rear assembly to find where the problem is.

Try reversing 2 of the motor wires. You may be spinning the motor the wrong way. The 2 speed has a one way bearing, so it will only drive in one direction.

Ofcourse Lincpimp, that is probably the problem. I will try that, thanks.

I suppose I shall be reversing the 2 outer wires, or?

Doesn't matter...swapping any 2 of the 3 will do it.
