RC-Monster Heat Sink Clamp - 06.13.2008, 10:50 PM

Hi guys.....

What size & thread are the screws that hold the clamp end?

They're metric 3mm flat heads. You can pick them up just about anywhere that sells screws. Here's a place I've ordered from before:

Or, if you can figure out what length you need, one of us may have some we can send you for a buck to save you from having to buy a few and pay a boatload on shipping.

M3 x 8 to be exact

that has happened to me, I bought a box of fasteners on line and paid as much for shipping as I did for the actual fasteners but considering the price of gas and my trouble I was willing

You're wanting to get longer screws to put an L clamp on a CL motor, right? IIRC, 3 x 20mm will work for that.

good luck with that...the past 4-5 trips I have gone to 2 different LHSs they never have what I wanted ...I have since given up..the web is my friend

There's a HobbyTown not too far away, they have a wall full of Traxxas parts... not everything, but quite abit. We shall see tomorrow

But yea.. the web has everything
