Center shaft length, how much play?

Just finished mounting a V1 slipperential on a G3 extended chassis. I had to drill mounting holes in the xbrace to allow installation. The 2 shafts that were included are 89.5mm and 123mm, both appear to be about 4mm short? I put a few spacers on both sides in the CVD cups, and it appears secure, but they are in the middle of the DVD cups, vs. fully seated. Will this work, or do I need to try to get new CVD's that are slightly longer?

Also, I will be mounting a Neu 1515/1Y on the RC Monster Motor Mount, and was wondering about the end cover (4mm thick), and I'm afraid the shaft on the motor is not long enough to use both the end cover and the RCM motor mount, any comments or suggestions?
