New E-Maxx Tranny on GMAXX - 06.24.2008, 11:05 PM

I know Shaun was able to fit the tranny just fine on this thread

http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11650

But for some reason I can no longer find a shop selling FLM10600. Mike is out as well and FLM dont have them on their listing now.

Is there an alternative mount I could use or does anyone know where I can avail this FLM10600?

PM MetalMan,
He can make you one and if needs mine for a template (no worries), I’ll drop if off at his work.

They don’t call the MetalMan for nothing.. Plus he’s saving up for a new car so I'm pretty sure he wants the cash..

Good luck Truckbasher..

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..

Thanks Shaun, I will try MetalMan....Using your truck as template will definitely help

@suicideneil
I think FLM said something about a new chassis...but Im not looking into that option at this point. I hope to use what I have...thanks anyway

Thats what I ment- FLM have stopped doing the tranny mounting adaptors because their new chassis is just around the corner hopefully. I'd still prefer the Gorilla chassis, although they too are said to have a new 3905 chassis coming 'soon'....

Well, I havent really considered to mounting it at this point. I am working currently with Travis (metalman) but for a different project for my E-Revo.

The good thing for both truck now, while E-Revo is grounded temporarily i can borrow the MM to power my new Tekno new 1515/2.5 for the EMAXX. It should be fun on 6S A123
But that will be discussed on another thread and hopefully post pics and video later.

For this mounting it will have to wait. The response of the RCM Slipperential is great so far that I cant consider mounting the transmission at this point. My E-Revo will loose the transmission too...very soon

Jeff
