Which vehice to get?

Howdy. I would like some advice on which monster truck or truggy would best fit my needs. I am a basher but I would like something that I can run on the street, in the grass and the occasional dirt hills and is strong as an ox. I would like something more on the larger side. I know a thing or two about brushless so that is what I would prefer to run.

Convert a monster gt. It is long and kind of big. Welcome to the forum. I not totally sure what you looking for. How big do you want it? A revo is nice size too.

i would suggest a revo all the way and there great incase you ever wanted to race.

Just depends what size truck and type of handling you want.

For a 1/8 scale monster truck for bashing or can be made to handle good if you wanna race the MGT is an easy conversion with an e-maxx tranny.http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...&threadid=1234

If you want a slightly smaller truck with very good truggy like/race handling that can also take a beating,Mikes g-maxx chassied revos (G-Revo)are the tickethttp://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...&threadid=1076

If you want pure race handling,convert a truggy/buggy with a center diff like the lightning stadium or the HPI hellfire which will be out by christmas.

The G-revo is the probably the best allrounder i reckon.

Just my suggestions,if you want to be creative and do something different,then more power to ya.

Of course there's always the good old e-maxx,takes a fair wedge to make a really good one though, whereas the revo front and rear ends are pretty much good to go.Maybe some ally diff cups are probably all you really need for the revo.Daf says the sliders hold up well too.(although it's a little less drool worthy than some of the maxxs here with parts from UE,FLM and so on)

First, I would like to welcome you to the forums!
Now, onto your questions:
The G-Revo is due in mid November, so if you are willing to wait, this should be a nice vehicle that will offer good durability and excellent handling. I would suspect it to be a nice bashable and raceable ride and should suit both duties extremely well.
If you are into doing a conversion, I agree that the MGT is a nice vehicle to do it with. An E-maxx is among the best all around vehicles in my opinion as well (my favorite truck is my g-maxx), and can be hopped up to almost no end. It can get a bit expensive, though! Worth every penny in my opinion! I would put my e-maxx against anything in terms of durability, handling, performance and just pure fun! It is, however, far from stock!

The motor on the right is hacker XL 74mm long, the motor on the left is a plettenberg 370/30/A2S 58mm long.

If you're saying you want to run alot of cells,i think it'll be nigh on useless for bashing etc. due to the weight.good for speed runs though.
