Hay drkros3,
You do know that this is a 3906 trans (?)..
Yes that motor mount will work on the G3
The Major differences between the G2 and the G3 are the following:
• Thicker material used
• 20 (something) mm longer
• Something else (cant think of it now).

Have a great one..
yah i know its the 3906 tranny. i was just thinking if i could get that motor mount then i could just use the 3906 tranny and still have th emotor in the middle.
Dont do it. I bought one back along- it flexes back & forth like its made of rubber! Trouble is its only bolted to the chassis in two places, very low down, so there is no support for the upper 2/3rds, hence the whole mount including motor and pinion flexes, which will lead to stripped spurs in no time at all; travel back to the beginning of this section, and you will find numerous people saying the same thing. Its only any good if you have the motor mounted low down on either side, to prevent the mount from flexing so much. Also, the motor os places so high up in the center posistion, that any flip or crash onto your lid will do serious carnage...
just for reference, the mount will not work on the G3, because you need to have those two holes in the x-brace... same reason why the v1 slipperential won't fit. but according to Mike, you can drill the wholes yourself if you're very carefull, without any detriment to the strength of the x-brace. but if you have an older gmaxx of g2r it'll work with the wholes...
