Do I need to clean my motor? - 07.05.2008, 12:13 AM

i used to clean my brushed motors every few runs and watch the dirt run out. i am still running in dirty, sandy, dusty conditions and i'm wondering if i should spray this tekno neu out. do you guys clean them? how often?

Yes and check the bearings too.

Usually once a month or every (5-7) outing..

so spraying a brushless motor with motor spray is a good idea? where should i spray the motor?

i sprayed mine after more than a month of just about daily running and the stuff came out clean as a whistle. i guess tekno (neu, really) sealed this can better than i thought.
