how to setup plane esc for car.

hey i got my esc installed in my revo but i dont get the battery for a few more days but i wanted to make it so all ineed to do was charge the battery and go drive.

i have a 3 cell i am using to set the esc but for some reason i cant get the esc to setup correctly on my radio. like the first time i turned it on i hit full throttle and then full bake and the motor started to spin even though i was not hitting the gas. so i turned down the trottle trim to where the motor would stop spinning but then i would not have any brakes.

What esc/radio are you using...For some set ups a pixstick is required

oh im using a phoenix 80 amp esc and a mx3fhss radio.

For pistol grip radios a pixstick is needed I believe.

it makes it so you can use a pistol grip radio with air aircraft/boat esc. Pistix either stopped making them, went out of business or is going to make a new one. Link but you can buy one of the last few here Link

ok i dont think im going to be ordering one of those. i think i might just returen the phoenix and just get a mmm since they are being shipped out soon

I am in the process of doing the same thing, all I am waiting on is for a Phoenix HV 110 and I already have the pistix adapter I got mine from Impakt

and if the lead is not long enough you can use a servo extension cable

ok i ordered the pistix so it should be here by thursday or friday. and i got my battery today (6cell ) and holy shit is that motor loud. cant wait to see it drive.
