Well, ive sold my maxx, but now the question is, A revo or jato? :D Now , the price difference is alot, i really like the revo, but somthing about the jato brings me to a stop with the revo. I know they are 2 completely different trucks.

True. Im awaiting the revo conversion. But thats till 2006:( But its well worth the wait, but i hope the f/r ends wont be that expensive, and the center shafts :S
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Mid Novemnber for the release of the G2R conversion. Both are excellent trucks. For pure speed and bashing, the Jato is a nice truck. FAAAAST!

I feel like the Jato or other two wheel drive truck is a good experience. On the track they have a way of teaching throtle control. They are not an easy drive. Wham BAm full throttle driving just results in spins and frustration. Electric truck is the largest class at our track. I'd say LosiMF2 brushless of your choice.

The Jato is indeed a nice truck. I've now driven six different stadium trucks, mostly on the track, and I'd say that the stock jato can compete against any of them on any given day.
That said, driving a 2wd stadium truck doesn't compare to a 4wd monster truck.
All things considered, it should probably come down to what works better for your situation. If you're just going to bash, where do you bash? Street, park, baseball diamonds, parking lots = Jato. Trails, construction sites, rough terrain = Revo. If you're going to race, make sure the local track runs the class for the truck you're going to buy. If they don't run a monster truck class, you don't want to be stuck watching 1/10th stadium trucks race while you wait for track time with your Revo.
Of course, these are both nitro. Yes, the electric converted Revo (G2R) is coming out soon and, if I'd get off my butt and finish the motor mount, we might even have a more home-brewed conversion for the Jato :)
Either way, it comes down to what you're going to use it for that will determine which is more fun.

I'd go with the 4wd of the Revo. I have only one 2wd vehicle left, and that's my T2, but it's earned its keep by being super durable for bashing. However, it does not have the kind of traction for doing serious off road bashing, and will loop out with the power of the Lehner if I don't coutersteer and control throttle input. Even my 18MT is 4wd, man does that make a gigantic difference in such a small car when you're bashing it.

This is hard, But i think my final choice might be the jato, i will be racing, only on a home made track:) But the thing is if i ever get the erge to go off huge jumps thats a problem, but doesnt the revo conquer anything the jato does? Apart from speed and controlability.
