Custom work from Mike - 07.24.2008, 03:30 PM

Does anyone know if Mike can do one off gearsets? I know he does mounts and chassis pieces, but would he be able to do internal differential bevel gears like what's found in the Duratrax Vendetta ST or most other gear diffs? I have his steel idler and steel diff for my Rustler, and love them, but did he make those or no?

Thought I'd ask on here first since I'm sure Mike is a busy busy guy.

Thanks guys!

I think the Cyclops himself will have to answer that one. I'm sure milling hardened gears is more difficult and costly than aluminum...

Yeah, I would imagine that the amount of milling time to be considerably longer with hardened steel compared to doing it out of aluminum.

I suppose I will sleep on it, and then shoot Mike an e-mail tomorrow.

I already hit him up to even do some metal (even alu) mini lst internal diff gears, never wrote back so I'm guessing he wasn't real keen.
