17mm to 14mm WHEEL ADAPTER HEX HUBS - 08.03.2008, 11:19 PM

Has anyone tried using 17mm to 14mm WHEEL ADAPTER HEX HUBS on their 1/8 buggy to allow them to use a bigger truggy style wheel/tire set up ... and if so how did it handle?

There are lots of 17mm wheels out there these days, including wide offset 17mm wheels typically designed for truggies. No sense in downgrading to 14mm IMO.

But are they worth putting on a buggy;ie does it give better handling, better traction on a dirt track, etc. ?

truggy tires on buggy???? no way. they might even rub the chassis when turning. worse acceleration as buggies have taller gearing than truggies as buggies have small wheels.
