My next project begins... -
08.05.2008, 07:03 PM
So I started another project. Bought an erevo chassis, skids, center driveshafts, and tranny last night off fleabay. Not a bad price, paid less than 100 bucks for all of it shipped. I paln to take the front and rear ends off the never run revo that I built. So it wil have the rcm hybrid diff cases with 1/8 buggy gears. Plan to use a 1515 1.5d on 4s lipo with a MMM. I may use a MM as I only have one MMM and would like to use it on 6s in the hyper st...
I also picked up another tranny to experiment with. Trying to make a 1/8 center diff fit in there. Should be interesting, and I will start a sepereate thread about that.
I am waiting on the parts, and should have everything together pretty quickly after they show up.
Now back to my other projects, like the 4 pedes and the vxl rustler and bandit... Shelving the 4-tec for the moment, do not feel like making a motor mount...

A beasty Erevo would be a simpler project to complete, and give you somethig to play with whilst working on the million other projects. I like...

Sounds good. I'd love to have so many projects, but I don't have the money.

You win, I will send you a cookie...
Easy to finish projects are on top of my list. Plus I can then sell off the tekno conversion kit that I have, and put the stuff from the tekno into the 8ight buggy...
I have plans...
I may even sell the entire tekno revo as a roller. Not sure if I still want to build a slayer. I almost have enough parts left over to build yet another revo...
I will have some pics up soon, had to take the rc room apart a bit. The a/c unit for my work office is in the room, and is covered with a large "box" that I use as a shelf/worktable. The fan motor smoked, and i had to move everything to replacve it. So I need to reorganize it all and get back to work on r/cs!!! I will pull a late evening tomorrow and see what I can get done!!!

She really does not care... I get packages everyday, and ship others out everyday. I am funding my hobby almost completely by selling stuff...

I do the same exact thing... Buy something for cheaper, get your use from it and sell it for more. Does your wife ever check how much you spend on this hobby?
