Good Balancer - 08.07.2008, 07:49 AM

Hi!

I'm searching a good balancer for my LiPo. I will buy a Zippy 5000mAh 11.1V LiPo. ( http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...0C_Lipoly_Pack )
This LiPo has a JST-XH balance thingy. But, I want to use the balancer also for in the future, so the balancer should balance LiPo's over 5's and more.
And what if the next LiPo hasn't a JST-XH balance thingy (dunno how it's called) can I just buy/make a adaptor?

So, do you know a GOOD balancer for me? Please let me hear it!

Thanks in advance!

Ok, the LBA10 comes without adapters, right?

On the place where "Balance harnesses attach here" stands, what kind of thingy I should put in there?

And another question, does anybody know it's a male or a female balance thingy on the Zippy LiPo?

Cant go wrong with the Hyperion LBA10 or Flightpowers V-Balancer. The LBA10 is a little easier to get adapters for that are pre-made. Depending on your charger too, Like the 610iNET has a balancer built in. And both the FP and Hyperion can link to another of the same and balance large packs up to 12s. Both are capable of being connected to the charger to charge and balance at the same time.

I've got a Ansmann Xbase Deluxe ( http://www.ansmann.de/cms/no_cache/r...%5Bpid%5D=8798 )
Can this charger charge and the balancer balance at the same it?

Sorry for all these questions, I'm a big noob @ balancers

the charger itself cant but by linking one of the above balancers to the charger you can. the balancer will have instructions on how to do this.
