Wet Lipo's - 09.01.2008, 04:18 PM

I'm looking at buying a boat
http://www.proboatmodels.com/Product...ProdID=PRB3750
and plan to run Lipo's.

What I'm worried about is the batts getting wet.

I have read somewhere that too neutralize a Lithium battery before disposal you submerge it in water and it will no longer hold voltage.

From what Ive been reading alot of boat guys do run Lipo's, I'm just concerned because it is likely that some water will find it's way into the hull.

Has anyone ever got there Lipo's wet out bashing, or any advice from any boaters.
