Yes. The Turnigy controllers are a great value. I have the HV version of that one, as do a few other members. The only thing I recommend is that you also pick up the programming card as the Tx programming is a POS . They are very smooth with starting/running unless you gear extremely high. The controller has no BEC, so you will need a UBEC circuit or a Rx pack. Also, the controller does not support motor braking in land-based vehicles. Your car/truck will need to have mechanical brakes; that is, if you're using it in a car/truck...

I tried that same one, I found the start up delay just to be too anoying, and sold it. I think if you used a tekno e-clutch, it wouldn't be as noticeable. If you trimmed the radio so it was always rolling a bit it didn't have the delay, it is just from off throttle to on. You could set it up with the cluch, so It was always running like a nitro car, and still have pretty much instant throttle response.

That's a good idea, junkman. Set it to "idle" a bit with the clutch kit.

I have that same controller. I havent run it in anything yet, but I have played around with it and it seems to work nicely. Its going in a top speed 2 brushles project. We will see how it works out. Just stay away from the 120A 50 dollar controller they have. Rough startup on my boat and its basically only good for full throttle. This one though seems to throttle up nicely so we will see.
