Has anyone seen a post from Patrick? -
09.13.2008, 07:16 PM
So, it seems apparent that there are still problems occurring. While it wasn't too much of an issue when CC had enough replacements to send out to appease those with failures, it now appears that those have run out.
As before, I can see the frustration and tension building. In the past, whether you bought into what Patrick had to say or not, we would get a post from him here and there. I THINK (and yet I'm not 100% sure about this ) that now would be a good time to hear something from the big guy at CC.
What do you think, Patrick?

I'm really getting sick of all this.
I'd rather he be working on the issue at hand than taking time to post here. We know there is a problem, he knows there is a problem. Having everyone in the forums pester him over and over again about their personal experience with the MMM isn't helping anything. All he does here is repeat himself to everyone who complains. Some people here have gone through 3, 4, even 5 MMM's. Come on, if you were smart you wouldn't keep sending it back *hoping* THIS ONE would work. Especially since you have been reading all of the same crap that I have about the failures. I'm not saying don't run your truck. I'm saying if your MMM dies, keep it until they FIX THE PROBLEM. THEN send it in!

you're entitled to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree.
the more we run them and burn them, the closer we get to a solution.
Larrydino just got his 7th I think....and this one is working good.
besides.... i spent over $2k on my truck. I'm going to at least TRY to run it.

+1. With every MMM that gets sent back broken, they get a better idea of what is wrong with them. I'm considering buying one, but I'm not sure if it can handle what I need it to but if I figure out what I'm doing and it fits the bill I'll consider buying one.

If so many are dying why has Thomas Portfets list at the top of this Castle section of the forum only have 3 pages - and its been that way since a couple of days after he asked for details on each failure?

Save yourself the aggravation of another dead one.

This forum represents only a small portion of the people who have purchased a MMM. I'm sure they have PLENTY of dead units to rummage through and figure out the problem. Actually, I'll bet they've figured it out already and they're OOS because the production lines are shutdown for re-tooling. I am trying to remain optimistic about all this since I WILL be buying a couple of them once it's sorted out.

I am honestly surprised that it takes so long for the failures to appear. I had two shipped all the way to Australia one after the other before many failures were reported here and even to castle. I think the faster people get them and blow them up the better. It took far too long this time. It means that the MMM will end up with a bad rep even if the v3 is indestructible.

The MMM will definitely have a tainted name for a while, but once they get figured out I think people will settle down. Apparently the MM was worse when it first came out, and now look at them!
