I lost my mother to cancer a few years ago, the only consolation to it is that she is in a better place now. Sorry for your loss

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

My mother in law passed away of cancer early in the year and in a way we didn't want her to go but cause of the pain she was in, we were hoping it wouldn't take to long.

Sorry to hear of your passing R.I.P

Sorry for your loss. It's never a pleasant experience.

My mother passed close to 3 years ago, and like Drift_buggy, it was almost a blessing. She was never healthy as far back as I remember; acute asthma, heart problems (had a pacemaker), two strokes, and a number of bouts of pnemonia. I was at the hospital the night she died and it was horrible. All of her organs were shutting down in succession. The feeling of helplessness was overwhelming. The hospital gave her Morphine to ease her passing, but I remember watching as she was basically drowning as her lungs were filling with fluid. The nurse said she couldn't feel anything with the drugs in her, but I was so upset I wanted to slug the nurse because I could see that my mom did not look comfortable - drugs or not. Even writing this now is leaving a lump in my throat reliving those moments.

Yes, she was in pain because cancer put her out of commision for good. She had a tumor growth on her spine cutting off feeling to her lower half of her body so she couldnt walk at all and a tumor in her brain. She went in her sleep so hopefully she felt no pain but the day before it was said she was having a difficulty breathing so a few people like my uncle saw it coming. But yes, all in all she is in a much better place now and she hopefully is no longer in pain.

My grandmother died 5/14/05 of pancreatic cancer. Last I saw of her was the night before she died. We all sa it coming and it was sort of a relief in a way, but was not nice to have happen.
