Need two more minutes. - 09.21.2008, 02:18 AM

Hi guys, I have a question. I raced tonight, did pretty good, truck felt great. The main is twenty minutes, as soon as "two minutes left" was called the Auto LiPo setting in my MMM kicked in. I seemed to have gotten more run time when I had the cutoff set to 12.8 volts, but I thought I read that with the MMM v2's the problem alot of people are having has to do with custom LiPo cutoff settings. That's why I put it on auto-LiPo.

So my question is how can I squeeze two more minutes run time out of it?

Losi 8ight-T, stock drivetrain (48 tooth spur).
MMM, 100% punch control, Lowest (0) motor timing.
Polyquest 6000mah 20c 4s pack.
11 tooth mod-1 pinion.
Tekno Neu 1515 1/Y/F motor.

The track was somewhat dry and pretty loose, I did get a little too throttle happy a few times which might be the two minutes right there. I was wondering if going to a 10 tooth pinion might get it to, or would it be better to go with the 50 tooth spur gear?

Thanks for any help with this.

Updated the MMM firmware to v1.19, set the lipo cutoff at 12.8v. Ordered a 10 tooth pinion from Mike. This, and a calmer throttle finger will probably get the two minutes I need.
