Gorilla Motor Mount issues - 11.13.2005, 08:14 PM

Need some opinions regarding the gorilla motor mount. I had this mount installed in the xbrace chassis for about a week and I have already bent both of the "lobes" used to attach the motor to the mount. The first was bent in a real nasty crash that I would have fully expected to bend it on, however the second bent on just a tumble. The motor is the hvmaxx and I ran it mounted in one position off from vertical.

Before ordering some more parts, do you guys think that the motor mount lobes will hold up to the hvmaxx's weight for bashing if I move the motor to the lowest possible position? Or should I save myself money/headache and just flip the differentials back and install the factory motor mount?

Thanks,

Steve
