The Vicious Circle... - 10.05.2008, 01:06 PM

Well I sent my warhead out I think it was sometime in early may to a kid out in socal named "always dreamin" from RCU. He then sent the warhead to ben aka "brushlessboy" who lives in new jersey and is from the RCM forums and now its back to me. I would have never guessed it could or would have happened but it did. I was dissapointed I got rid of it but now I can enjoy it again... Thats why i named it "The Vicious Circle" meaning around the USA. I dont know exactly what i plan to do with it yet. Im hoping to either run a bigger outrunner into the tranny to replace the top gear and run a MMM or to run dual smaller outrunners with dual MM's with the slipper. You guys should give me ideas...

wow.

its amazing at how small it looks compared to that mcd truck.

that is insane!

i dont think people here are too fond of dual motors...

but as of right now dual MMs would probably be more reliable than 1 MMM esc.

Glad to see you have it back Ryan, this should be a good build, as long as you don't toy around with 10 different setups for 6 months before it actually goes anywhere.

And going off of what t-maxxracer32 said, I think you should call it......... Mini Me......

And I agree with what you told me on AIM yesterday, it does look kinda "poser" with that wing on there, but if you lowered the body (if possible) or got a body that looks more like a race truck body it would look alot better.

As for the motor setup, after I thought about it a bit more, you would be better off with a single really big outrunner direct into the tranny on the input shaft. It would be lighter than running dual small outrunners, probably alot more efficient.

For a more "race truck" look I suggest trimming the bumpers so they are only a tad wider than the mounts. It would look alot better like that.

And get some limiter straps or make your own. That thing sits way too high IMO.
Maybe different shocks........ I see LST shocks in the future of that truck.....

You should revamp the truck. IE- new body, rims, (lose wing) and brushless system!
