Hey all been a while since I posted here.

I have had my emaxx for about three years now with a few upgrades, and I am finally considering upgrading to make it brushless. I currently have:

Pro-line Servo Saver
Hardcore racing bulkhead f/r
MIP cvds front and rear
UE center ti cvds, UE idler gears
Xtreme Racing carbon fiber lowered chassis (non-brushless version)
RPM skid plates
RC Raven aluminum skid plates (not being used atm)
Dace 23mm adapters (no wheels or tires yet)

My transmission is currently locked in second gear using shoegoo which has held surprising well for the last couple years. My main questions is since I need to upgrade my diffs and I already have bulkheads, should I get some UE 6 spyder diff kits, or FLM bulkless with diff gears?

I also question sometimes whether upgrading the e-maxx is worth the investment since I estimate it will cost around $800-900 to upgrade it to a brushless machine. For that amount of money I could finish off these three projects:

Tamiya Mini Cooper-Install brushless
Clod Crawler-install crawler chassis and aluminum beadlocks
RC18T-Install mamba

Sometimes I'm tempted to just sell it off and wait for the G-Maxx Revo conversion to be released.

The gmaxx revo conversion is out. So if you like the revo more over your current emaxx, the choice is obvious. Sell the maxx.

I really can't say if I like the Revo better for bashing since I have no desire to own a nitro rc, and the only people who own an electric version at this time are self-built. Maybe someone who owns a Revo can tell me how durable the diffs and drivetrain are compared to the E-maxx when running brushless. I don't mind having to upgrade a few items, however I am trying to avoid another money pit like the maxx when trying to convert to brushless.

I don't got a revo, but many people will say the same that the driveline of the revo is much better than the emaxx. The only thing that you need to upgrade are alum diff cup's, which are a few buck's. Your emaxx tranny will bolt right onto the gmaxx conversion, so no worries there. Revo's slider's are though, but there are cvd's availeble.

I'd say it is much much better quality and durability over the maxx. Handeling should be awesome with the lowered battery plate.

i have a e-revo or "evo" as i call it but it seems to have a near bulletproof drivetrain. i have yet to break anything.

a lehner xl3100 and 9920 on 12 cells but i plan on going with a 9xl on 5s lipo.

the little lehners a hand full, it just doesnt have the torque i need for a heavy truck. my maxx weighed in at a little more than 8 lbs. and my erevo was like 10. the difference was huge. i had to gear it down and then the magnets came unglued from the rotor. now i gotta get it fixed and i think ima get a 9xl on 16 cells for my erevo for a little more power. i've been brushlessless for like 4 months now and im going crazy!!!!

I threw one of the armatures away that would help you squee the other month. I should have kept it. sorry squee. The torque is not as good as the xl bk motors. They are pretty impressive for the size they are.
