My RC Car Fleet - 10.09.2008, 05:31 AM

I hope this is the right forum for this. I'm still trying to get the lay of the land for RCM.

This is (almost) my entire fleet. I've added a Traxxas Slash to the line-up since I took these pictures:

From Left to right:
Top Row:
Traxxas E-Revo (Dual Brushless), Axial AX10, HPI E-Savage, Traxxas Stampede (brushless), E-Maxx
Middle Row:
Losi Drift-R (XXX-S), Tamiya M03, Duratrax Evader BX (Brushless), Unknown Nitro On-road Car, Traxxas Jato 2.5
Bottom Row:
XRay M18 Pro (brushless), Losi Mini Monster Baja (Mini LST2) (Brushless), Losi Mini-T (Brushless), Losi Micro-T (Brushless)

As you can tell, I like brushless electric. Only two of those RCs are Nitro, and seven are Brushless.

The Jato with Talons is awesome! What size clutch bell are your running on that? I've got my Jato 3.3 setup with Moabs but I am thinking of changing to Talons. Did you put a hex on the front axle?

Sorry for the questions. Awesome collection though! :)

I'll have to check on the size of the clutch bell. I'm not sure off hand what I have in there.

I did have moabs on my Jato at one time but I found the extra height made it harder to control.

The wheels are simply the All-Star wheels intended for the Jato (TRA5277, TRA5276) which Talons mounted on so I didn't need to change out the hexes.

These wheels seem to work better for off-road than the stock tires did and as I'm primarily a basher, that's exactly what I was going for.

Traxxas even sells them premounted on All-Star wheels for the Jato.

Front - TRA4171
Rear - TRA3669

RC 1/32 scale - they can run brushless and lipo... Mine has the lipo but not bothered with brushless as you need a micro 2.4 rx.

They go for about $50 shipped used.

That sure is a Micro-T and it is brushless with a Spektrum receiver, however Losi has since released an AM receiver for use with their Micro-T brushless kits and the stock radio.

They are a blast. Brushless is even more fun, though you require more room. I've thought about buying a Micro Raminator just for in house running.
