Hello!
I've got problems with choosing powercaps for my Tekin R1Pro which will work on 6s2p a123 in #3905 Emaxx. I've looked for some caps, and the best I can find in Poland is:
Rubycon ZLH 1500µF/35V (35ZLH1500M RoHS )
RC=3,45A
Z=13mΩ (long life 10000h, 100kHz)
People say here it should be more than enough for a brushless ESC, but before I fry something I would like to ask you for advice if it is ok?
I plan to put three of those paralell, so it will be 4500µF/35V. Please advise me.
Assuming those are low esr caps, then you will only need a pair in parallel to give you 3000uf. Any more than that and its just going to create a giant spark upon plugging in the batteries, which will damage the connectors and make you poop your pants (trust me). 35v is fine, as is the uf rating, just gotta be sure they are low esr & work at 105*C.
What about this haircut? ;)
Ok, they are 105*C,they are low esr, lowest to find at this moment, muc better than Panasonic FM series.
About spark I didn't think, that's right. If you say 2 will be enough, I believe you :) I have those sparks on my other controllers :) They are sometimes big :)
