Red face Any chance Castle Link for the Mac? - 10.17.2008, 06:49 PM

I have a pc, but I mainly use Macs and my laptop is a mac, it would be nice to have a version of Castle Link for a Mac. Any plans for this in the future Castle?

Possible, but not in the schedule for development right now.

Yea, that is kinda what I figured. I realize it is not a top priority, but it sure would be nice. I thought about boot camp, but I will probably continue to just use my kids computer. I don't want windows anything running on any of my machines!

Or better yet, castle link for Palm OS or the iPhone OS or some other handheld product so we dont even need to drag the laptop allong. Just plug it into the mobile device.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

That would be sweet!!!! To be able to get it from the app store and put it on my IPhone that would be perfect. What about bluetooth connection to the controler and phone!

Ohhhh... yeah -- we've been chatting about an IPhone Castle Link at work. Too bad Apple didn't put a regular USB on the IPhone -- then it would have been real easy.

Maybe someday when we have a chance to build a Bluetooth Link device.

you know, can you look into a 2way telemetry devices? Our race cars use whats basically a big wireless router to transmitt to our computers. We can change tune while on the track...AND we can record data from the ECU straight to the computer. If we can introdue this to RC, NO MORE expensive data logging systems you have to hook up later!
