My new goodies - 10.20.2008, 11:46 PM

Well I have about had it with my MA packs as they def don't hold voltage well under load and heat up considerablly. Also my eos0606i was a good beginers charger but I needed something more powerful. Here are my new purchases. Ordered a eos0610i duo from MA and received that Saturday, their batteries aren't the best but wih my discount I got a good deal on the charger and they have all the adapters I need. I also purchased to NeuEnergy 4900mah 3s packs, I had seen on here they where having a sale and checked out the prices, about 40% off, under $100 each is hard to pass up. Last night I ordered one of the 2s 5000mah hard case lipos as they are discounted very highly right now. I bought the power supply off Linc a few weeks back, not big enough for the charger to operate at it's limit but it's enough for my needs, if I need more I'll hook it up to a car battery!

My E-Revo with MMM/ Tekno Neu 1515 2.5d id a beast with these batteries! 20+minute run time doing high speed passes, quick slowdown, turn and repeat. 20-25MPH wheelies are nothing for it now. Lost a 17mm nut holding my maximizer beadlocks/badlands on and the tire went about 100' past the truck, no luck finding the nut so I came home. Took off the 17mm hub adapters and put my stock talons back on. A few weeks ago I cut them off the rims cleaned everything up and glued them back on, Traxxas's glue job will hold up to the titans but nothing more! The talons hook up better on pavement than the badlands as they have a flatter profile putting more tread on the ground.

About how fast did you think you were going?

Differential Ratio: 2.8461538461538462
Transmission Ratio: 1.8333333333333332
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 62
Pinion Tooth Count: 20
Total Voltage: 22.2
Motor KV: 1700
Tire Diameter (inches): 5.9
Tire Ballooning (inches): 0.3
Motor Current Draw: 80
Motor coil Ω: .01
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 3.1 : 1
Total Ratio: 16.17564 : 1
Tire Circumference (inches): 20.42 inches (518.68 mm)
Total Motor Speed: 36380 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 43.49 mph (69.86 km/h)
Estimated Adjusted Speed: 41 mph (66 km/h) - 6% loss
Effective KV Value: 1638.74
KT constant: 0.8 oz-in/A
Motor Torque: 0.33 ft-lbs
Final Torque: 5.36 ft-lbs
Final Power: 1776 watts (2.4 HP)

Here's my setup, as you can see it's estimated at 41MPH and I will agree that it was doing about that. I know it would have been to fast for racing at the barn! There I was only geared for about 35 on 4s and that was more than adeqaute, this combo will destroy a Revo 3.3 with a good tune!

^^^ it's a traxxas rustler with blue rpm arms (all around) and bumper, masher 2000 tires all around from proline, the stock gray body, and some black chrome rims (they look like RPM chrome revolvers RIT dyed black). Other than that, idk, but i hope that helps!!

Check out my FS thread in the General Discussion!! Help me go lipoly!!!
