Outrunner repair - 01.05.2009, 10:29 AM

Hi, I'm working on a Rimfire 35-36-1000 outrunner. In the process of centering the shaft so it can drive off both ends, the end piece that holds the shaft came loose from the magnet housing. Does anyone know what kind of glue I should use to put it back on?(yes it was glued on) I was thinking J-B Weld. Thanks, Don

JB Weld is what I used on one of my motors, and it's held up fine. Just make sure not to use too much (but use enough) and wipe off the excess so you don't ruin the balance of the magnet housing.

I have used JB Weld on two rotors in different motors (Novak hv bonded and a Lehner basic xl 1200) the 1200 is still running after 8 months of abuse

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I used JB Weld. It looks solid. It's for a future project car. I want to build a TC3 with an outrunner in the center-should be a lot of fun! Don
