Does anyone know what the MMM combo ESC default setup is from the factory regarding LVC? it "No cutoff" or "Auto lipo"?

The reason I was asking was because my bro got his MMM combo last week for his jammin CRT. I told him he better check the ESC settings before he ran it and I would swing by in a few days to check it out, but apparently he couldn't wait for me so he hooked it up and ran it in his yard. I get a phone call, and he said his lipo is dead and I asked him if he checked the ESC settings, duh, no lipo cut off. Three of the four cells on his 4s NeuEnergy lipo were below 3 volts. He said he thought it came set to auto lipo as a default and that why he ran it without checking.

Sucks for him! I hate friends that don't listen! If they don't know what they're doing and want help but don't listen it's their own fault! I have a friend that keeps trying to do these builds for less than $100 buys all this crap off ebay then asks me why it doesn't work. The only thing he did listen to was when he bought a sidewinder combo for a rustler. He was using junk everything but wanted the highest kv they made, I finally got him to just get the 4600kv kit and he was plenty happy when he ran my Lipos in it. He was trying to get it to run with old 1500mah 6cell Nicd and wondered why it wouldn't go!

Yeah I feel bad for him, he has a bunch of kids, and they are great kids, so RC is secondary to him right now (3rd if you count his wife too). One just started college and it is costing him an arm and a leg. He's on a really tight budget, and he keeps buying cheap junk. I tell him you get what you pay for, but he really can't afford everything at one time, so he finally get's enough money for a good battery, ESC and motor and then he kill's the battery. I just donated two of my oldest lipo's to him, a couple of 4s Maxamps that still work ok. Oh well..
